Onshinkan Dojo Course Descriptions and Fees
Aikido
- Six-week introductory sessions and ongoing training in traditional Aikido. Stretching, warmups, movement, falls, and techniques. Introductory course provides in-depth, hands-on exposure to the unique art of Aikido, and students learn basic techniques as well as the foundations for further study. Ongoing training is offered year-round.
- Six-week session cost: $100 for six week introduction (two hours/week)
- Ongoing training fee: $75/month for unlimited attendance. Discounts are available for ongoing family members, students, and for quarterly payments.
- Days/times: Mornings, evenings, and weekend classes available (see Class Schedule)
Aikido for Youth (ages 7-15)
- Six-week introductory sessions and ongoing training for kids and teens. Family classes also available. Youth will learn traditional Aikido and build self-confidence, self-esteem, discipline, respect, and compassion. This is a great alternative to competitive sports - there are no competitions or tournaments in Aikido. No sparring, no fighting. Instead, youth learn how to work with others, and strengthen teamwork and cooperation skills. Great exercise. Great fun! Emphasis is on safety and building from the inside out.
- Six-week session cost: $100 for two hours/week
- Ongoing training is $55/month for unlimited attendance. Discounts are available for ongoing family members.

Family Aikido
- Work together with brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, grandparents! Fun, constructive training for the whole family or for the individual. Aikido is uniquely qualified to help families learn to work together. Consistent practice fosters interfamily respect, communication, and understanding. Plus it's an activity that all ages can do, and it's FUN!

Chi Kung
- This material is included in the Tai Chi class, below. The exercises done help with building of internal energy, and on breathing and meditation exercises in the Taoist Tradition. Students will also receive a brief introduction of Two-Person Practice (T'ui Shou).
Tai Chi
- This class will focus on T’ai Chi Single Form, and Beginning Yang Style Long Form. Students will also receive a brief introduction of Two-Person Practice (T'ui Shou).

- Days/times: Tuesdays, 8:00-9:00 pm
- Four-week session cost (calendar month): $40 (one hour per week)

Iaido (Japanese Swordsmanship) Study Group
- Weekly study group in Muso Jikiden Eishin-Ryu Iaijutsu.
- Iaido Seminars (by Greg Noble Sensei) held twice per year (see upcoming events)
